Multiple WhatsApp Numbers
Connect more than one WhatsApp number to your account, give teammates access to specific numbers, and control what's shared between numbers.

An account isn't limited to a single WhatsApp number — connect a second (or third, up to your plan's limit) number for a different team, brand, or line of business, all managed from one account. Each number goes through the same secure connection process as your first. You decide which teammates can access which numbers, and whether contacts, conversations, campaigns, quick replies/automation/journeys, and the template picker are shared across every number or kept separate per number.
Connect another WhatsApp number
Add another WhatsApp Business number to your account, the same way you connected your first.
- Go to Connections from the left menu.
- Click "Add another number" and complete Meta's connection steps.
- Give it a label (e.g. "Sales Line", "Support Line") so it's easy to tell apart.
Switch between numbers
Change which number's data you're viewing/acting on, from anywhere in the app — Inbox, Templates, Campaigns, Reminders, Automation, Journeys, and Quick Replies all follow it.
- Use the number switcher in the top bar (only shown once you have more than one number) — it shows the number's ID, phone number, and a short name.
- Pick the number you want to work with, or choose "All numbers" to go back to the merged view.
- A green badge on the left of the top bar always shows which number (or "All numbers") you're currently on, so it's never ambiguous.
Give a teammate access to specific numbers
Control which of your numbers a staff member can see and work with.
- Go to Team from the left menu.
- When inviting someone (or editing an existing staff member), check the numbers they should have access to.
- Leave every box checked to give full access, same as before you had multiple numbers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do my plan's contact/campaign/seat limits multiply per number?
No — every limit on your plan (contacts, campaigns, team seats, etc.) applies to the whole account's total, combined across all of your numbers, not per number.
Can the same customer message two of my numbers and still be one contact?
Yes, as long as Contacts sharing is turned on (the default) — the same phone number stays one contact record no matter which of your numbers they message. If you turn that off, each number keeps its own separate contact for the same phone number.
I disconnected a number by mistake — can I reconnect it?
Yes — go to Connections and connect it again the same way you did the first time.
Can I use a template created for one number on another number?
That depends on Meta, not this app: a template is approved against the specific WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) it was submitted under, not against your Techmits account as a whole. If your two numbers are on the same WABA, they already share the identical approved template list automatically. If they're on separate WABAs (the usual setup when each number went through its own connection process), a template approved for one genuinely doesn't exist on the other — Meta will reject sending it. To use the same wording on both: switch the number switcher to the other number, open the template, click Clone, and submit it — it goes through Meta's approval process again as a new template on that number's WABA.
