Flows Builder: Multi-Step Automatic Conversations
Design a multi-step automatic conversation with a visual drag-and-drop editor — a keyword starts it, and buttons branch it.

A Flow is a keyword-triggered sequence of automatic messages, built visually by dragging and connecting steps on a canvas. Unlike a single keyword auto-reply (see Campaigns), a flow can send several messages in a row, and branch down a different path depending on which button a customer taps — useful for a support menu, a guided order process, or anything with more than one step.
Create a flow
Start by creating the flow's trigger keyword, the same way you'd set up a keyword auto-reply.
- Go to Campaigns from the left menu and click "New flow".
- Give it a name and a trigger keyword (exact match or contains).
- Save — you're taken to the flow editor to build its steps.
Build the flow on the visual canvas
Add steps to the canvas and connect them by dragging from one step's connection point to the next. Each step is one message, optionally with up to 3 buttons.
- On the flow editor, click "+ Add step" to add a new message box to the canvas.
- Fill in the step's message text, and optionally a header, footer, and up to 3 buttons.
- Drag from the Start box's connection point to your first step to make it the flow's entry point.
- Drag from a step's connection point to another step to link them — a step with no buttons just flows straight to the next one; a step with buttons lets you connect each button to a different next step.
- Click "Save flow" to save your changes.
Branch based on which button a customer taps
When a customer taps a button, the flow automatically continues down the path connected to that specific button — a different reply for each choice.
Pause or delete a flow
Turn a flow off temporarily, or remove it entirely.
- Open the flow from the Campaigns list.
- Use the Pause/Activate button to turn it on or off, or Delete to remove it and all its steps.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between a Flow and a keyword auto-reply?
A keyword auto-reply (see Campaigns) sends one message when a keyword matches. A Flow can send several messages in sequence and branch down different paths based on which button a customer taps — better for anything with more than one step.
Can a flow use the AI bot partway through?
Not yet — a flow is a fixed, predictable sequence you design, separate from the AI Auto-Reply Bot. Combining the two isn't available yet.
Can I send a link button (opening a website) as part of a flow?
Not yet — flow steps support up to 3 tappable reply buttons, but a link/website button isn't available yet.
What happens if I edit a flow while a customer is partway through it?
Saving changes to a flow replaces its steps. If a customer was waiting partway through a step that no longer exists after your edit, their conversation simply continues normally from there rather than getting stuck.
Is there a limit to how many steps a flow can have?
There's no fixed limit on the number of steps, though a very long chain of automatic (non-button) steps will stop after a generous safety limit to prevent a mistakenly looped flow from sending messages endlessly.
